Why jewelry?
Creating for me has always been a way of expressing and connecting with my inner self. A place that at times stirred my imagination and at others a place where I could relax.
I have grown up surrounded by my mother, who was intensely artistic and self-taught in jewellery. She taught me that imagination is something that is cultivated and is not only the prerogative of children, but you can be an adult and that connection is still active.
Then my jewellery studies helped me to better structure my imagination in combination with the techniques I learned.
I am very happy that after a lot of inner searching, I am able to capture the sensations I have inside me, the images I have seen, the aesthetic line that connects me so strongly with ancient civilizations and prehistoric times that even I myself am surprised, since they spring from within me so naturally as if they had always been on my mind!
Fashion, dressing, accessories, let alone jewellery, have always occupied the human race. From ancient civilizations, natives to royalty, jewelry has always been a sign of aesthetics, culture and distinction and will continue to be for many years to come even if jewelry evolves and mutates.
Humans will always be connected to each other and jewellery is a means of connection, expression and enhancement.
I create according to the pulse....the inner, the universal and the earthly and I am especially happy when people decide to have as their companions in their new experiences EFSTATHIA kosmima . This is after all my purpose, in the modern society we live in these jewels should accompany opinions, aesthetics, power, give style and the appropriate beauty that the wearer needs, depending on the occasion.
This journey however is uncharted and seems endless....
